Certified Calibration Lab Engineer – Mechanical

$255.00

This e-learning training course is designed to provide knowledge and a clear understanding of the fundamental requirements for conducting in-house calibration and maintenance of mechanical instruments.

Calibration is defined as a test during which known values of measure and are applied to the transducer, and corresponding output readings are recorded under specified conditions. The responsibility of the instrument technician is to follow the proper calibration procedures to accurately calibrate the instrument.

This Mechanical Instrument Calibration e-learning course has been designed to introduce participants to the basic principles of calibration of mechanical instruments such as Vacuum Gauge, Pressure Gauge, Weighing Balance, Weight, Tachometer, etc.

Features of Instrument Calibration Training

TOPICS COVERED

The Mechanical Instrument – Certified Calibration Laboratory Engineer online training comprises four sections:

Lectures

There are a total of seven lecture sessions in this course. The lectures are provided as a PowerPoint presentation with explanatory audio to understand the subject.

  • Session 1 : What is calibration?
  • Session 2 : Uncertainty of Measurement.
  • Session 3 : Calibration Method and Records for Vacuum Gauge.
  • Session 4 : Calibration Method and Records for Pressure Gauge.
  • Session 5 : Calibration Method and Records for Weighing Balance.
  • Session 6 : Calibration Method and Records for Weight
  • Session 7 : Calibration Method and Records for Tachometer

Handouts

For all the above seven topics, the handouts totaling more than 93 pages are given in PDF format. Participants of this Mechanical Instrument Calibration training course can download and save the handouts on their computer, print them, or read them offline to gain detailed knowledge of all the seven topics listed above.
